See how Cosmic Meridian handles birth moments, coordinates, chart results, cookieless measurement and optional support email.

Cosmic Meridian calculates chart data inside your browser. Birth moments, coordinates, placements and results are not sent to this site by the workspace unless you sign in and choose to keep a chart or save a person.

What stays private

• No birth data in page addresses, metadata, analytics, or share previews. An account is optional; without one there is no sign-in and no server-side chart history.
• Cookieless product measurement records a governed set of tool, navigation, membership offer, sign-in, share, export and saved-details counters, plus birth-form progress: whether the form is ready or visible, first editing, submission, bounded validation categories, city-picker states, calculation success or failure, result visibility, and foreground time checkpoints. Closed properties contain only the tool or surface, a bounded attempt number within this page, predefined field or state categories, and elapsed-time buckets. An attempt number is not an account or visitor identifier. No typed value, birth date or time, city query or selected city, time zone, coordinate, chart position, reading, account identity or free-form error is sent. These 92 names form this site’s frozen allowlist; their closed properties never contain a birth input or an identity.
• Cookieless product measurement uses the Site Factory fleet’s self-hosted Umami at analytics.pagefabrica.com. It also records page-loading and interaction performance timings with the page address and device context, including LCP, INP and CLS, to help us find slow routes. These measurements contain no birth detail or chart result. If you allow optional session analytics, the page also loads Microsoft Clarity from www.clarity.ms; Clarity may use cookies to link consented visits.
• The horoscope pages ask this site’s own server for the authored texts of the seven days from your calendar date, by sign. That date is read from your device’s time zone and, with the sign named in the page address, is the only thing the request carries: no birth detail, no location, no account and no cookie.
• Support email is optional and is not part of the calculator.

On this device

After a successful calculation, this browser keeps the birth details you used, so the calculators can fill them in again on your next visit, the home page can show your Big 3, and Today for your chart can show today’s transits to them. This is on by default. The details are kept only in this browser’s local storage, under one key, cm.device. They are never sent to this site or anyone else, never put in a page address and never added to measurement.

• What is kept: the birth date; the birth time, or that it is unknown; the city with its coordinates and time zone, or the coordinates and time zone you typed; which occurrence you chose when a clock time repeats; the house system you last chose on your chart; the last city you picked for planetary hours; and, from the synastry and composite pages, up to three other people, each with the name you typed, if any, and the same birth details. A chart replaced by a newer one becomes one of those three. Nothing else is kept: no result, reading, date of use or identifier.
• Why: so you do not have to type the same details again, and so the site can show your chart, this year’s solar return and today’s transits without an account.
• Don’t remember: a choice beside every saved result. It deletes what is kept and stores only that choice, so nothing is saved again until you turn it off.
• How to delete it: press Forget beside a saved result, or Forget this device’s data below. Either removes the cm.device key completely. Clearing this site’s data in your browser’s settings does the same.
• Other people’s details: only enter someone’s birth details if you may keep them; they stay on this device as described here.
• Measurement: four counters with no properties record that saved details were written (chart_saved), that a form was filled from them (chart_recalled), that Today for your chart was shown (today_viewed) and that Forget was pressed (data_forgotten). None of them carries a birth detail.

Optional account

You can sign in with Google to keep one chart, to see a weekly tarot card with a private note beside it, and to save the people you compare your chart with. Every tool works without signing in.

• Sign-in asks Google for the scopes openid, email and profile. Google sends your email address, your name and your profile picture; this site keeps your email address and your name, and never the picture. It never sees a password.
• When you press Keep this chart, or save birth details on your account page, the site stores what that chart needs: the birth date and time as you entered them, whether the time is known, the time zone, the coordinates and the city label, and your first or second clock occurrence if the birth time repeats. Nothing else about the chart is stored; your browser draws it again from those details.
• When you open Your sky while signed in, the site draws one tarot card for you at random for that week and keeps it with your account — which card, whether it is reversed, and when it was drawn — so it stays the same when you come back. If you write a note for a week and save it, the site keeps the note’s text and when you saved it. The note is shown only to you, on Your sky; neither the card nor the note is sent to measurement, put in a page address, or stored in your browser. Your sky shows the card and note for this week and up to four weeks either side. To read, copy or delete an older note, or to have a copy of all your cards and notes, write to support@cosmicmeridian.com; deleting the account removes them all.
• On Your sky you can save up to twelve people — a partner, friends, family — to compare their charts with yours. For each person the site keeps the name you give them, the birth details you enter for them (the same details a kept chart holds: the date and time as entered, whether the time is known, the time zone, the coordinates and the city label, and your first or second clock occurrence if the birth time repeats), and when you added and last changed them. These are other people’s details: only add someone whose birth details you are allowed to keep — that permission is your responsibility — and the site uses them only to show you the comparison. For the people you save, the site relies on its legitimate interest in giving you the comparison you asked for; it never contacts them and holds only the name you chose, so it cannot look anyone up by name. If you believe your birth details were saved here by someone else, write to support@cosmicmeridian.com. They are shown only to you, on Your sky; they are never sent to measurement, put in a page address or stored in your browser, and the comparisons are worked out in your browser. You can change or delete a saved person on Your sky at any time, and deleting the account removes them all.
• Some parts of Your sky belong to the membership, which is free during a beta: nothing is charged and no payment card is asked for. When you press Start monthly or Start yearly, the site keeps with your account that you started it, which feature you pressed it from (Your day, the whole week, the journal, more people, or the membership page), which of the two prices that button showed, and when, and it marks your account as a member. So that a lock you see twice in a month is counted once, it also keeps, for each lock you had on screen, a marker naming only the feature and the month, which deletes itself after the following month. Separately, it adds one to monthly counts of presses by feature and price, and of people who saw each lock; those counts name no one and are not deleted with an account. None of these records is sent to measurement, put in a page address or stored in your browser. You can leave the beta at any time on /account/; your account is then a free account again.
• Three account cookies exist only for signed-in use: __Host-sf-cosmicmeridian is the HttpOnly session, kept for 12 hours; __Host-sf-cosmicmeridian-hint is a flag with nothing in it that tells pages whether to ask who is signed in; __Host-sf-cosmicmeridian-state lives for ten minutes while a sign-in is under way.
• You can delete a note on Your sky (for the weeks it shows) or a saved person on Your sky, and your birth details or your whole account on /account/, at any time. Deletion takes effect immediately; the database’s point-in-time backups keep its earlier state for up to 35 days before it is gone from them too.
• The account’s email address and name, any birth details you keep, your weekly cards and notes, the people you save, and the record of a membership beta you started are stored with Amazon Web Services in its eu-central-1 (Frankfurt) region, which runs the site’s database on its behalf. The email address, the name, the weekly cards and the membership record are kept until you delete the account; the birth details, each note and each saved person until you delete them or the account.
• The lawful basis is your request: the account exists only to do what you ask of it — keeping a chart you choose to keep, drawing and keeping a weekly card when you open Your sky, keeping a note you save, keeping the people you save, opening the membership beta when you press Start — and you end it by deleting it. The markers that count which locks you saw rely instead on the site’s legitimate interest in learning which features people want; they name only the feature and the month and delete themselves after the following month. • Cosmic Meridian’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Optional Microsoft Clarity

Clarity records page interactions for heatmaps and session replay only after you press Allow replay. The site masks the main content, including chart forms, results, saved people and account details, from Clarity. Clarity is not loaded on /account/, /you/ or /today/, or on a URL with a query string or fragment. A consented public page can send interaction and device data to Microsoft; no chart input is added to a Clarity event by this site. Clarity is separate from cookieless Umami. Use Cookie settings in the footer to decline or withdraw; withdrawal stops the replay and clears Clarity cookies on this site. The choice itself is saved in your browser so it can be respected on later visits. Read Microsoft’s Clarity consent information.

Advertising and consent

This site reserves one below-the-fold Google AdSense placement. The placement is currently unwired, so the built page does not load Google advertising code or set advertising storage.

Google requires publishers serving ads in the EEA, United Kingdom or Switzerland to use a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, and the IAB’s mandatory deadline for all publishers and CMPs to fully implement TCF v2.3 was March 1, 2026; TCF v2.3 is mandatory for all TC strings generated on or after that date. No ad unit will be connected here until that consent path and this notice match the exact behavior.

Google’s US state regulations messages can give covered visitors a way to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. Any activated message and its targeting must be rechecked before this page describes it as available.
