Cookies
Your choice controls optional replay.
See which measurement and advertising technologies Cosmic Meridian currently uses, what stays off-device and how future ad choices would work.
Cosmic Meridian does not put birth details into cookies or the URL. Unless you choose Don’t remember, it keeps your last birth details in this browser’s local storage, as cm.device, so the calculators can fill them in again; they never leave this device, and Forget removes them. Its Umami page-view and product-event measurement is cookieless and does not receive chart inputs or create an advertising profile. An optional Clarity choice is stored as cm.clarity-choice in this browser; it never contains birth details.
Sign-in cookies
Only if you sign in with Google, this site sets three first-party cookies: __Host-sf-cosmicmeridian, the HttpOnly session, kept for 12 hours; __Host-sf-cosmicmeridian-hint, a flag with nothing in it that tells pages whether to ask who is signed in, with the same lifetime; and __Host-sf-cosmicmeridian-state, which lives for ten minutes while a sign-in is under way. Signing out or deleting the account removes the first two; the third expires on its own. None of them holds birth details.
Storage on this device
After a successful calculation, this browser’s localStorage holds one key, cm.device: your last birth details (the date, the time or that it is unknown, the city with its coordinates and time zone), the house system you last chose, the last city you picked for planetary hours, and up to three other people from the synastry and composite pages, each with the name you typed. It is functional storage you start by calculating; it is never sent anywhere, and it is not used for measurement or advertising. Don’t remember, beside every saved result, deletes it and keeps only that choice; Forget, there or on the privacy page, removes the key completely.
Storage in this tab
This tab’s sessionStorage, which never leaves the browser and is cleared when the tab closes, holds the last birth moment you cast (cm.moment), so the next calculator can offer it back. Only during a Google sign-in it also holds the sign-in’s check value, the page to return to, one word naming what you pressed before signing in (Keep this chart, or a Start button of the membership beta with its feature and price option), and — if you pressed Keep this chart before signing in — the birth details of that chart under cm.keep, for that one round trip; cm.keep is removed as soon as it is read, or when you come back without finishing.
Optional Clarity cookies
Microsoft Clarity session analytics loads only after you choose Allow replay. With that choice it may set cookies to connect visits for heatmaps and session replay; account pages and personal chart content are excluded or masked. Choose Cookie settings in the footer to change or withdraw permission. On withdrawal, the site tells Clarity to clear its cookies and reloads without the Clarity tag. Declining does not load Clarity.
Advertising choices
A below-the-fold Google AdSense placement is reserved for a future approved unit. Until a unit is connected, the built page loads no Google advertising library and creates no advertising storage.
If an ad unit is activated, the applicable consent and opt-out controls will be documented here before launch. Read the current Google consent requirements for the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland and Google’s US state regulations message behavior.
