Void-of-course Moon
The stretch after the Moon's last exact aspect in a sign until it enters the next one — a pause between one thing and the next.
The Moon is void of course from the moment it makes its final exact aspect while still in a given sign until the instant it crosses into the next sign — sometimes minutes, sometimes the better part of a day. During that stretch it isn't making any more exact contacts with the other planets from where it currently sits, which is traditionally read as a pause rather than a dead spot: a decent window for finishing something already underway, less reliable for starting something built to last. The void ends the instant the Moon enters the next sign, whether or not anything else is happening at that exact moment. This site calculates every void window to the minute, using the nine bodies, Sun through Pluto, that count toward an exact aspect.
